Dear Argonauts,
This Christmas holidays and in the New Year, we are committing to #LocalActsOfKindness. We can make a difference, locally.
We have started by gifting presents to kids who are homeless during the holidays for a Christmas party with the NHS. Thank you to those who generously donated.
Then we are running a raffle for the above gingerbread house on behalf of the UK Charity Home Start Camden and Islington, which supports young families. Thanks to Amanda Goddard, Director of Legal, at Argonon for organising this.
Next, our COO Laura Bessell, organised a Peloton for Women and Children First, which raised money to help reduce maternal and infant mortality.
And we have donated to a Christmas lunch for infants in Kent who are dependent on food banks and might otherwise not have a celebration at all this year. Thank you to Karl Dawkins, Director of Technology, for making this happen.
In 2020 – politicians and politics will run their own course. But we can make a difference with #LocalActsOfKindness.
