Jamie is a director and executive producer with a reputation for innovative filmmaking and multiplatform production. As a director, his recent projects include SAVING PLANET EARTH: FIXING A HOLE (Winner AFO International Film Festival, AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Award) for PBS and Channel 4; EINSTEIN’S QUANTUM RIDDLE and INSIDE EINSTEIN’S MIND (nominated for two Emmy Awards and a Grierson Award) for PBS NOVA and BBC; THE HOLE, a short film for the UN with Sir David Attenborough and EINSTEIN100 (Webby Awards Honouree, Vimeo Staff Pick) an online animation with David Tennant with over a million views. Jamie exec produced the OPERATION MANEATER series and SEX IN THE WILD series for Channel 4 and PBS. He series produced and directed THE WONDER OF DOGS for BBC Two and devised and series produced the major multiplatform projects EASTER EGGS LIVE (Grierson Award shortlisted) and FOXES LIVE (BAFTA Craft Award nominated, Broadcast Award winner) for Channel 4. Jamie shaped the INSIDE NATURE’S GIANTS format, directing two of the four films in the BAFTA and RTS Award winning first series. And he gained unprecedented access to NASA while producing and directing LAST SHUTTLE: OUR JOURNEY.
