World Mental Health Day 2023

October the 10th marks World Mental Health Day so we at Argonon wanted to take a moment to highlight the support we offer to all our colleagues, as well as the support available to the wider film and television community and beyond.

At Argonon we take the mental health of our team very seriously, which is why every employee has an employee assistance programme/plan, including a free 24-hour confidential helpline and we have several trained mental health first aiders.

For the wider industry, help is always available thanks to our friends at the Film & TV Charity. If you are a freelancer or work in production or in an office job, the Film & TV Charity offers mental health support for everyone in the industry. The charity are available 24/7 and they offer both a helpline (0800 054 0000) or a chat function on their website to offer support and advice to those who need it.

If you are ever in need of immediate help for your mental health then call 999, or call 111 and select option 2, or call the Samaritans for free 24/7 on 116 123.
